Many people who play World of Warcraft no matter what realm or server know that dungeon levelling is the fastest way to level. However not everyone knows the best strategy to get the most out of the inbuilt dungeon finder system. To ensure maximum fun and little confusion you should have a dungeon strategy so that you make the most out of each and every run. This is where a good dungeon levelling guide to help you can save you a lot of time and help to maximise your fun.
Developing Your Dungeon Strategy
One of the best ways to develop your personal WoW dungeon strategy is to obtain a level of understanding about the dungeons. Learn how they work and why dungeon levelling is the fastest way to go. Dungeon levelling in a nutshell is levelling your character by running chains of dungeons with other players. It’s easier than ever to do this because of the dungeon finder tool, released as part of patch 3.3 under the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion. The dungeon finder tool allows you to party with players from other servers and choose your role; tank, healer, dps and you can indicate that you know about the dungeon.
Developing your dungeon strategy depends at least partly on what type of class you are. DPS classes do have a longer wait in line as opposed to the healing and tanking classes. I would suggest that it’s certainly worth it to solo quest while you’re waiting for your dungeon group to form. On the other hand tanks may be able to walk in and out of dungeons all day long as tanks are always in a shortfall compared to DPS classes. Healers are also in high demand, although usually not quite as much as tanks.
Don’t Forget Your Dungeon Quests
No dungeon strategy is complete until youe compliment it with dungeon quests. This is one of the most important parts of dungeon levelling however often the most forgotten. Dungeon quests offer far more experience gains compared with quests you do solo as they’re considered to be more difficult. Every dungeon in World of Warcraft has quests, although some dungeons only offer quests for either Alliance or Horde characters. The experience gain from doing dungeon quests is like doing two solo quests, not to mention the experience gains from all the kills whilst in the dungeon. Choosing your dungeon is key to your levelling success so it’s well worth your time to figure out which quests go with which dungeon.
Help Is Available
Thankfully, there is now a dungeon levelling guide created specifically for those who want to take advantage of this new way to power level. Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide covers everything from where to find the quests that go with each dungeon to where to turn them in. The guide even takes into account the fact that you can’t use the dungeon finder until your character reaches level 15. It has all the qualities of the traditional levelling guide in addition to the new information you need to know about dungeon levelling.
Instance levelling is a great way to bring your character from level 1 to 80 with much less time and effort than it took in the beginning days of WoW. You’ll find yourself hopping from dungeon to dungeon and level to level with ease.
The system and information that Dugi has put together is phenomenal, just take a look at this screenshot of this great tool:
