How To ICC 10/25 Tactics – Blood Prince Council

Main Tank Prince Valanar
Off Tank Prince Taldaram
Ranged Tank Prince Keleseth, Dark Nucleus (Warlock is the best choice for DPS on the move)
Ranged DPS Prince Valanar & Kinetic Bombs, Prince Taldaram, Prince Keleseth
Melee DPS Prince Valanar, Prince Taldaram, Prince Keleseth
Healer 1 on Tank, 1 on Raid; Prince Taldaram – 1 on melee range group, 1 on maximum range group
Raid Leader Since there where will bo no tank switching you can position the Princes where you like when the fight starts.

The three Princes all have differnt abilities when the Darkfallen Orb switches targets and casts Invocation of Blood so ensure your raid is ready to adjust to the different tactics.

Prince Valanar opens the fight then it becomes random as to which Prince becomes active. When Valanar activates he opens with Empowered Shock Vortex. Have your Tank and Melee DPS start straight after this. Ensure on other activations the tank has picked him up before Melee DPS attack.
Your Ranged DPS need to focus on the Kinetic Bombs (white glowing balls of light) and keep them up in the air. If any of these hit the ground they will explode, so keep the balls up or it will be a ‘Balls Up’!

When Prince Keleseth activates have your Ranged Tank hold aggro on him and the Dark Nuclei. Normal aggro rules apply so as long as only the Ranged Tank hits them (DoT’s work best as there quick to cast and you only need one on each) then they will latch on. Your Ranged Tank is going to need at least 3 stacks of the buff Shadow Resonance to survive and will need to move about to gain these buffs. A skilled raider will be able to do this and put some DPS in. Ensure your Ranged Tank doesn’t enter melee range as this Prince can still hit very hard. Warn your raid other than your Ranged Tank to not hit the Dark Nuclei as the Ranged Tank needs the buff from them to stay alive. In a nutshell Ranged Tank to stay close to the Dark Nuclei but away from Prince Keleseth.

Prince Taldaram will open with Empowered Ball of Flames when he activates. This will target a random raid member and travel to that person. Its important that some raiders follow this as it will give off sparks thus lowering it’s power (quite visible as you will see it get smaller). There is no need to follow it all the way to the targeted raider just enough to reduce its power as when it strikes the Flame damage is not shared.

A good tactic is to move into two groups, melee range and maximum range. Melee range will not be targeted by the Empowered Ball of Flames.

Rinse and repeat.

To summarise, make sure your raid is aware of which Prince is active, your tanks pick up quickly, maintain a steady DPS and your healers know who they are healing

25 Man Increase the number of healers to five or six.

There will be three Kinetic Bombs on 25 man.

Heroic The Kinetic Bombs are summoned closer to the ground and will fall faster so have your Ranged DPS spread out so you can assign about two or three to deal with them.

Any movement will apply the Shadow Prison debuff which will stack the more you move. It will cause 500 shadow damage per stack to the raid member whilst moving.
Stand still to reduce the damage to zero and remaining still for ten seconds will reset the debuff.

Glittering Sparks will reduce movement by 40% and put a standard plate tank on Keleseth.
